InventorWhat is Inventor? Inventor is a 3D design software, which allows us to design, and create different things to be 3D printed. In Inventor almost anything can be built. We then use 3D printing softwares like Makerbot to print the objects we create in Inventor. Below are some Widgets I have built in Inventor.

Final Thoughts
I learned quite a bit during this intro unit to Inventor and 3D printing with Makerbot. I learned a lot about moving different files from place to place. I learned how to use different softwares like Makerbot, which I have never used in my life. Learning how to use Makerbot made it possible to 3D print my widget. The first thing I have ever 3D printed! In addition to learning Inventor and Makerbot, I improved my time management. During this unit half the time I am at home, and you have to be good at balancing your work load to finish assignments. Especially because the first few classes we needed to build our widgets, I didn't have a way to do so at home. So I had to be productive with what I could, get work done, and then when the time came, finish my widgets. Overall I enjoyed this first unit.
